Activites on the Big Island - 1
|

While Kona is the owners of Alii Hale's all around favorite,
they love Kohala and Waimea. There are several different climates and many different activities on the Big
Island. Most are within less than a half a day's drive from Kona.
The closest and ritziest area is Kohala/Waikoloa, approximately 40 miles to the north of Kona. The resorts
here are world class. The Owners have stayed here many times. They rate Kohala second to Kona because
Kohala is often very windy and always expensive. There is nothing that one staying in Kona cannot do by driving
to Kohala, except sunbath or swim in the Hilton's swimming pools and lagoons. You may tour all of the hotels,
ride the Hilton's boats and electric train, and sometimes listen to Hawaiian music free of charge. |
